ReMIX Atlanta takes the content and the spirit of MIX10 to create a new event with well-known speakers from the Southeast and the final release versions of Visual Studio 2010, Silverlight 4 and the Windows Phone Developer Tools.

This is not PDC-lite.  Like the MIX10 event in Las Vegas, ReMIX is about the world in which Design and Development meet.   Along with full tracks on Silverlight 4 and Windows Phone 7 Series, we will provide a full day of sessions on User Experience and how to bring quality design to your battleship gray applications.  With Silverlight and Windows Phone, design is a first class concept in the Microsoft ecosystem.  Learn how to apply UX values to your applications and how to take the time to build great looking and usable technology.

In conjunction with ReMIX, the community welcomes the .NET Rocks! touring roadshow hosted by Carl Franklin and Richard Campbell.  We will record an episode of the show in Atlanta in front of a live studio audience (you!). The .NET Rocks podcast had over 23 million episode downloads in 2009.  The .NET Rocks! recording is Free and will take place at the Microsoft Alpheratta office starting at 6 PM:

The .NET Rocks! live recording will begin on Friday evening, May 7th at 6:00 PM.  We will continue the festivities with the ReMIX keynote by Brandon Watson, the Director of Development for Windows Phone 7, on Saturday morning, May 8th, at 8:30 AM and a full day of sessions covering the latest technologies and UX practices.  ReMIX will be held at the Marriott Perimeter Center in Dunwoody.  Registration starts at 7:30 AM.

Attendees of ReMIX will learn and refine their skills so they remain relevant in today’s highly competitive job market. They will also have the opportunity to network with each other and meet with a variety of conference sponsors. The sponsors provide many services attendees are interested in, including recruiting, training and consulting.

We only have room for 400 people at the event. ReMIX Atlanta will strengthen the local designer and developer communities and provide a roadmap to the future of rich, interactive, beautiful web development.
